Chuck Ellis sits down with David Corbett, Republican candidate for York County Sheriff. A Lyman resident, David has a long law enforcement career with the Saco and Biddeford police departments and the York County Sheriff’s Office as an investigator, corrections officer and road deputy, followed by about 13 years as a criminal justice professor. He holds a master’s in public administration and is also a clergyman.

In his third run for sheriff, he discusses county jail Suboxone policy, community corrections with clergy and volunteers, faith-based recovery, ending forced 16-hour shifts for corrections officers, and community policing.
